“Soup With the Stars” Gala
On March 28, 2011, Mr. Kenny Dusang had the honour and pleasure of attending the first “Soup With the Stars” fundraising gala in Toronto. It was a sold-out event and the community came together to support those in need in Israel. The event raised over $260,000 which was matched by the Feinstein Foundation – doubling the benefit, and the funds raised will be sent to Israel immediately to purchase food for Passover. Rabbi Abraham Israel, Founder and Chairman of Hazon Yeshaya Humanitarian Network in Jerusalem, was in attendance. On the same day, Mr. Dusang enjoyed having lunch with Rabbi Abraham Israel, Sam Ifergan and Orna Zeitoun-Serruya (Co-Chairs), and Laurie Tartour, a guest from Israel. Hazon Yeshaya Humanitarian Network is a wonderful charitable organization to support as all funds go directly to Israel to help the needy.
